Educational Consulting, Inc. was developed to provide a business outlet for the ongoing innovation and provision of a wide variety of direct observation data collection and analysis tools and related educational training and development materials. All have been specifically and individually designed for educators, researchers, psychologists, business and industry professionals, parents and caregivers, and the lay community. Currently staffed by a group of educators, applied psychologists, computer scientists, and marketing and distribution professionals; we are dedicated to providing state-of-the-art data collection and analysis tools, and a variety of educational materials designed for specific training and development interests.

Officer Bios Tom Sharpe is a former Full Research Professor with tenure at multiple Carnegie I university settings. He draws from a wealth of varied professional experiences and activities in public and private school, therapeutic, and university teaching settings; and from a professional education, applied psychology, and social science research career in a variety of graduate programs at different Research extensive universities. Trained by many of the leading applied and experimental behavior analysts in the profession at West Virginia University, Tom has pursued academic work largely in the professional education and therapeutic application of direct observation assessment methodologies in efforts to improve the functioning and quality of life for a wide range of clientele and caregivers, and workers and employers, across a variety of settings. As a function of his work in research and evaluation methods, he has authored over 150 refereed articles and book chapters in the respective areas of research methodology, professional preparation, and setting specific interventions; culminating in textbooks in the area of sequential behavior and behavior systems analysis. Tom is also a regular contributor to the principles and practice of applied behavior analysis and systematic behavior change methods through conference and workshop presentations and a variety of consulting activities in education, therapeutic, and organizational business management settings.
John Koperwas has been a practicing software developer for the past 20 years. After developing a variety of real time software and hardware systems John went into a research and development working relationship with Tom Sharpe that now jointly serves clients worldwide ranging from teacher education programs to medical rehabilitation clinics to public school districts to special education and activity-based outreach centers, to a variety of organized business concerns, to individual clients in the larger community with an interest in educational development and training.
